" Street Surfing has brought on my surfing to a new level. Over the last year i have struggled enourmously with my upper body rotations and co ordination. My upper body didn't seem to be wanting to work together as a unit when i was doing a carve manouevre or cutback.
Recently though, after being introduced to the Wave Board, my carves and cutbacks in particular have improved immensely and now when i am surfing i can come out of the turn with speed and power.
I think wave Boards should be amongst any good surfers quiver for the days with no waves to improve upon your technique! "

" The fluid co-ordination that Wave boarding teaches you is similar to that which we use when kitesurfing: the wave board trains both your upper and lower body to work together - improving your core stability- which means when you hit the water your moves are in sync, stronger, faster and cleaner than they otherwise would be.
When running classes with intermediate riders and above I often use the wave board in our land based training, because with certain exercises you can train the same muscle groups which we use to 'pop' (the take off as you jump). The wave board can get you riding better, boosting higher and landing cleaner - a must. "
